Starke, FL – The Arc of Bradford County is proud to announce the launch of its bold new fundraising campaign, Raise a Glass to Inclusion, in support of a first-of-its-kind social enterprise: Access Brewing Company. This initiative seeks to raise essential funds to create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the establishment of a community-centered, socially conscious craft brewery.

As the first initiative of its kind in the region, Access Brewing Company will not only produce high-quality local brews, but also serve as a dynamic workforce development hub. It will offer skills training, professional growth, and inclusive employment for individuals with IDD—who continue to face disproportionately high rates of unemployment nationwide.

This launch comes during a milestone year, as The Arc of Bradford County proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary of supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities in the local community.

"In Bradford County and beyond, individuals with disabilities are eager to work but often lack access to inclusive job opportunities," said John Williams, CEO of The Arc of Bradford County. "This is more than just a brewery—it's a movement. By supporting Raise a Glass to Inclusion, you're helping launch a business that empowers people with IDD while strengthening our economy and our community."

According to national statistics, nearly 80% of individuals with disabilities remain unemployed. Access Brewing Company aims to change that narrative by creating a supportive work environment where individuals of all abilities can learn, earn, and grow.

Community members, businesses, and supporters can contribute at various giving levels—from just $5, the symbolic cost of a single pour, to $10,000 sponsorships that include naming opportunities and exclusive donor rewards.
